Portrét rozpačitého otce / Portrait of a Confused Father

Dvacet let natáčel režisér Gunnar Jensen život svého syna. Od prvních krůčků přes společnou výpravu do divočiny až po ranou dospělost, která se vyvíjela zcela jiným směrem, než by kdokoli tušil. V hravě asociativním a ironicky sebereflexivním portrétu rodičovského tápání si Gunnar klade zásadní otázku, kde se stala chyba. Jak je možné, že lidé, kteří jsou nám bezmezně blízcí, mohou být zároveň těmi nejvzdálenějšími? Dojemná i rozverná výprava do nitra dvou mužů, několika epoch a vratkých morálních hodnot.

Over the course of twenty years, director Gunnar Jensen filmed his son’s life—from his first steps, through a shared journey into the wilderness, to early adulthood, which ultimately took a path no one could have foreseen. In a playfully associative and ironically self-reflective portrait of parental uncertainty, Gunnar confronts the fundamental question: where did it all go wrong? How is it possible that those closest to us can also become the most distant? Both tender and lighthearted, this journey into the inner worlds of two men spans multiple eras and exposes the fragility of the moral values that shaped them.
