I studied history at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. I worked at the Historical Institute of the CAS as a bibliographer and at the District Archive Prague-West and the Ethnological Institute of the CAS as a documenter. I have been employed at the NFA since 2002. Initially, my interest was in Czech documentary film up to 1945, but now I am working on news film from the same period. I am the author of several articles on the history of Czech documentary and news film, and I am interested in culture during the Protectorate period.
