I'm a film historian and publicist. I graduated in film studies, first as a bachelor at Charles University in Prague and later as a master at Masaryk University in Brno. In the past I worked as a high school teacher at a film-industrial school and in the programming departments of Czech film festivals. Since 2023 I have been working at the Národní filmový archiv in the Department of Filmography and Cataloguing, where I focus mainly on contemporary domestic feature films. Outside the archive I contribute texts to cultural periodicals (Cinepur, Film a doba, A2) and I am the dramaturge of the Czech Visions festival.
