I joined the Národní filmový archiv in 2012 after graduating from the Faculty of Arts at Charles University with a degree in archives and history. I am mainly responsible for the processing of written collections resulting from the activities of film institutions and the processing of collections of film personalities. My task is to ensure that the information contained in our archives reaches the public. In addition to processing archival material, I also do my own historical research and publish regularly. I have gradually moved my original research focus on 18th century cultural history into the field of film history, and in 2020 I received my PhD in film studies. In 2021, the NFA will publish my book, BEAUTIFUL, GOOD, BEAUTIFUL. The Roman Catholic Church and Cinema in the Czech Lands 1918-1948.
