After graduating from library school in 1981, I joined the Documentation Department of the Czechoslovak Film Institute (now the NFA) as a processor of photographic materials, where I was able to supplement my knowledge of film history in close cooperation with the Film Library, the Library and the Editorial Department. Later I moved to the NFA Library as a cataloguer of film literature and for analytical description of articles. At the same time, I worked on completing a retrospective of the collection of film scripts, which I continue to catalogue, now in born digital form.
