I am a film historian and curator. I studied Czech language and literature and film studies. I have been working at the Národní filmový archiv since 2014. First I worked in the Curatorial Department, and since 2017 I have been working in the newly established Department of Filmography and Cataloguing. I am dedicated to cataloguing Czech and Slovak documentary films from 1898 to the present. I am involved in expanding, securing and making accessible this part of the collection. I also focus my own research activities on the history of Czech cinema. I actively participate in historical and art history conferences, I have collaborated on several scholarly monographs and critical editions of Czech films on DVD/BD, and I publish in professional journals.
