I am a film historian, a graduate of the Department of Film Studies at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague. My long-term research interests are topics related to Czechoslovak cinema of the post-war years, especially the Stalinist period and the relationship between the state and film production. I have been working at the Národní filmový archiv since July 2022. Within our department I write filmographic texts and process data for the Film Survey database. I work mainly with domestic documentary production, and in addition, I am involved in processing metadata related to film festivals and awards related to Czech film.
