I am a film historian and curator. I studied film studies and cultural studies. I have a long-standing interest in news film up to 1945. I am the author of a number of scholarly articles and two books in the field of video art and experimental film. I have worked at Krátký film Praha, I have collaborated externally with the editors of the magazine Ateliér, I have taught at FAMU, FHS UK and SŠFaF. I have collaborated externally with the NFA in 2005-2008. Since 2008, I have worked at the NFA as an archivist (in the Department of Film -relůated documents), film historian (in the then Department of Film Historians) and curator of collections (in the Department of Curators). I currently work as a cataloguer in the Department of Filmography and Cataloguing.
