I joined the NFA (then CSFA) after graduating from FAMU (Film and Television Production and Management) in 1981. In the Department of Film Collections (formerly the Technical Department) I reconstructed the aquisition books of negatives and since 1992 I have been in charge of this department. In the same year I attended the FIAF Summer School in the UK. In my role I am involved in the comprehensive care of film collections from acquisition to safeguarding and preservation to shredding. As a co-author, I worked on the catalogues Czech Feature Film II - VI and Czech Animated Film, and I have collaborated on several film restorations, most recently on The Hangman of Prague.
