About the film distribution

The film was shot entirely in the autumn of 1944 and practically completed in the last months of the Protectorate in 1945. After the liberation, the completion of the film was initially forbidden. It was not until the spring of 1946 that only a few exterior scenes were reshot, and the film was finally cut and edited. The film was distributed together with the short title 2× Rubber (1946; directed by Elmar Klos).
