Price list by category
Pursuant to Act No.496/2012 on Audiovisual Works and Support for Cinematography and on Amendments to Certain Acts (Act on Audiovisual), the Národní filmový archiv is a specialised archive for audiovisual archives, which is entitled to claim reimbursement of costs associated with its activities in the amount published in the price list of services and under the terms of Decree No.645/2004 Coll.

The above prices apply to one standard screening at a cinema, show or festival. In the case of special screenings, the price is negotiable and depends on a number of factors (admission price, location and method of exhibition, screening of unique film prints, etc.) and may be determined by a percentage of the admission price by mutual agreement of both parties. Digital file format (MP4) screenings can only be made by agreement. All orders must be received by us at least 10 working days prior to the scheduled screening, otherwise we cannot guarantee successful completion.

| Prices include chemical cleaning of the film print, bringing the print to the digitizing facility, digitizing to Full HD (QT Apple ProRes 422HQ), light and color alignment in the digital environment, and post-digitization treatment of the print. Compensation and contractual penalties for violation of the principles and conditions of the NFA Borrowing Regulations
In case of proven damage, destruction or loss, the user is obliged to reimburse NFA for all proven costs of repair or purchase of a new copy of the AVD. In addition, he/she shall reimburse the financial loss caused by the loss of profit during the period of time that the AVD could not be properly used (e.g. in distribution).
