My specialization at the Národní filmový archiv, where I have worked since 1999, is amateur and family film, which our institution began to focus on more systematically after 2000. I am involved in the gradual expansion of this part of the archive's film collection by negotiating with private individuals and state institutions, securing new acquisitions, cataloguing the acquired material and making curatorial decisions regarding its preservation for the future. I publish texts focused not only on the field of non-professional cinema in the national and international press and actively participate in international scientific conferences. Since 2006 I have represented the NFA in the European archival association Inedits: Amateur Films/Memory of Europe.
