I gained my first and valuable archival experience at the State District Archives in Příbram, from where I went on to study Archival and Ancillary Historical Sciences at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. During my master's studies in 2016, I joined the Národní filmový archiv in the Department of Film-related documents, where I worked as an archivist until 2023 and had the opportunity to get acquainted with all the funds and collections. Now, as head of the department, I not only try to ensure the smooth running of the department and a pleasant environment for my colleagues, but I am also involved in acquisitions, commissioning and dealing with researchers. At the same time, I continue to try not to lose touch with the basic archival work: organising and making collections accessible.
