I am a film historian, I studied law and then film studies. In the past I worked at the Ministry of Health and at the Czech Television Archive, where I specialized in the processing of written archival material. I have been working at the Národní filmový archiv since 2019 as a filmographer and cataloguer of the documentary film collection. Since July 2021 I have been coordinating the agenda of research, research queries and consultations related to film collections. The subject of my professional and personal interest is generally Czechoslovak pre-war cinema and the way it illustrates cultural development, the history of art and industry, and life during the First Republic. I am particularly interested in the popularisation of forgotten personalities of Czech cinema.
