I studied history and museology at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University. Since 2002 I have been working at the Národní filmový archiv. In the former Department of Film Historians, I worked on Czech documentary films up to 1945. I also participated in the preparation of several DVDs (Marijka the Harlot, Czech Animated Film 1925 - 1945, etc.). Since 2018, I have been working on the processing of relevant audiovisual materials as part of a research project focused on the multimedia theatre Laterna Magika. I continue this activity in the Department of Filmography and Cataloguing. In addition, I contribute my filmographic texts to the Filmový přehled and collaborate on the cataloguing of Czech documentary films.
