At FAMU in Prague I created experimental films and multimedia installations at the Department of Audiovisual Studies. Subsequently, I started working at the Digital Laboratory of the Národní filmový archiv, where I still work today. Initially, I was involved in the acquisition and archiving of born-digital media in the NFA collections and acted as a liaison between producers, distributors and the NFA. Given the ever-evolving forms and possibilities of digital worlds, as part of my studies in Interactive Media Theory at Masaryk University, I became interested in what contemporary forms creators are engaging with and how Czech collection-building institutions are responding. Since 2021, I have been leading the NFA's Digital Lab team. I find the most exciting part of my work to be the opportunity to collaborate on research projects, exploring the boundary between the digital and natural worlds, and the topic of automating processes where human potential is scarce.
