I am a graduate of the Master's degree in Media and Communication Studies (FHS UK) and the Master's and PhD degree in Information Science (FF UK). During my studies I worked at the National Library of the Czech Republic, where I was involved in the conception and development of persistent identifier systems and digital archiving. I also wrote a review publication on this topic, Long-term preservation of digital documents. I have been working at the Národní filmový archiv since 2018, initially as Head of the Department of Filmography and Cataloguing, later as Head of the Research Support Department, and currently as a Research Fellow, my main task is to develop a system for describing films and related collection items in line with the latest international standards and trends in the heritage community.
