Librarianship has been my lifelong career plan and it makes sense to me across all disciplines. Studying Library Science and Scientific Information at the Faculty of Arts at Charles University gave me a decent foundation for this plan. Since 1989 I have been professionally dedicated exclusively to library practice - first in technical fields, for a long time as an acquisitions librarian who identifies, acquires, and records specialized literature, and later as a name and subject cataloguer for undergraduate and qualifying papers. Since 2019, I have been working in the NFA Library and have been mainly involved in the analytical description of scholarly articles on film topics, the creation of separates of current articles from the daily press, and the management of catalogues. The results of my work are available to the public in the library's online catalog.
