Summary
An old train guard’s house near a disused rail track is far more attractive to the kids than the boring drill and games in the nearby summer camp. It’s no wonder – idiosyncratic duo Milan and Julo have decided to spend their vacation in the old property. The pair do what they can to protect their privacy against the little invaders, but the children’s desire for some real fun finally wins them over… This 1978 children’s film directed by Radim Cvrček stars the popular Slovak comedians Milan Lasica and Julius Satinský, who also collaborated on the screenplay. It was the first of many Czech films they both starred in and helped to script (including family sci-fi Srdečný pozdrav ze zeměkoule [Cordially from Earth, 1982]). Václav Babka plays the grumpy camp manager with a passion for organised activities.
