All roles were played by amateurs – students and inhabitants of the village Velká nad Veličkou. Ňorek´s band performed as follows: Jan Ňorek, known as Janiga (leader), Jan Ňorek snr., Jura Ňorek, Martin Tomešek, known as Mezar, Pavel Kučera, Jan Tomešek and Martin Ňorek, known as Ňoreček. Miškeřík´s fiddlers included the following performers: Martin Miškeřík (leader), Tomáš Kohút, František Miškeřík, Pavel Kohút, Cyril Savara, Pavel Trn, František Trn a František Miškeřík snr.
