I am a graduate of the Secondary Library School in Prague. I have been working at the Národní flmový archiv since 1994 as an acquisitions librarian. My work involves the purchase of Czech and foreign publications in the field of cinema and related fields, the acquisition of catalogues and printed materials from film festivals, shows and exhibitions, and the exchange of NFA publications with other cultural institutions, including the monitoring of publishers' editorial plans. At the same time, my task is the initial processing of these documents and the basic registration of the library collection.
