Before joining the Národní filmový archiv in 2013, I worked at the Film Laboratories of the Czech Television as a film lab technician as a colorist (numberer). Currently, I work in the Film Collections Department as a restorer. I work with all types of 35mm film materials on both safe and flammable bases. I participate in periodic checks of positives and negatives, detailed technical findings of materials prior to digitization, acquisitions preparation and accessioning, and check screenings. My other professional activities include film tinting and toning, restoration and reconstruction.
