Summary

Zbyněk Brynych's second directorial effort was the short story film Five in a Million, which focuses on the everyday life of heroes of various ages, portrayed by actors such as Jan Tříska, Jaroslav Marvan, Vlastimil Brodský, Eman Fiala, Luděk Munzar, Fanda Mrázek and Josef Bláha, in five short sad and happy stories from the streets of Prague. Special attention was paid to the last short story "Pavučina", which won the 2nd prize at the 10th International Festival of Documentary and Short Films in Venice.
