About the collection
The core of the collection of sound recordings consists of 1,500 interviews with 900 representatives of Czech film culture. We continue to develop and add new interviews to the collection. We primarily record biographical interviews using the oral history method. This allows us to obtain unique testimonies about Czech cinema. The recollections of representatives of film culture expand knowledge in a way that official sources cannot offer. In addition to the interviews, the collection also contains records of conferences, lectures, lecturer introductions and other events.
